On stage

Hearing the story before adding a single note.

Carolina Araoz is a saxophonist, singer, composer, artistic director and curator. She can hold the centre of a concert, slip quietly into another artist's music, or shape a project from its very first idea.

Whatever the setting, she begins in the same place: understanding the people involved, and discovering what each song, each stage and each gathering is asking for.

Her own concerts

A concert the audience helps to make.

Saxophone, voice and songs that invite everyone in.

As a singer-songwriter, Carolina brings together saxophone, voice, songs of her own and stories drawn from life. Her concerts are warm, generous and uplifting: an invitation to sing along, to listen differently, and to find yourself in stories of change, identity and new beginnings.

With a full band, a small group or something altogether more intimate — for venues, festivals, cultural seasons and special occasions.

Live collaborations

Stepping into another artist's world.

Saxophone, voice, backing vocals and musical direction.

Carolina wants to know where a song comes from, what its writer longs to say, and where her saxophone, her voice or her ear might belong within it.

She joins concerts and tours as saxophonist, singer, backing vocalist and musical director. Her experience runs through songwriting, jazz, traditional music and contemporary work — without ever forcing a label onto a project.

Recordings and arrangements

Only what the song asks for.

Studio work, arrangements and saxophone ensembles.

Carolina records soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones, bass clarinet, flute and backing vocals. She also writes vocal and instrumental arrangements, building saxophone sections that can glow like layers, answer in counterpoint or swell like strings.

Every session starts with a conversation. Before a single note is recorded, she steps into the world of the project, so that what she adds deepens it rather than overwrites it.

Events and celebrations

Music for the moments that matter.

Weddings, private gatherings and corporate events.

A wedding, a private party or a company gathering is never just a format: behind each one are stories, hopes and people who want to share something.

Years at the helm of Music Solutions taught Carolina to listen for that purpose and turn it into music with a character of its own. She performs solo, as a duo or with a band, fitting the format to the place and the moment — and knowing the difference between beautifully judged background music and her own concert.

Artistic direction and curation

Gatherings with meaning.

Music and cultural projects with their own identity.

Carolina designs and guides music and cultural projects. She looks for strengths, finds the affinities between artists, and builds a shared direction without ever making their voices sound the same.

She founded and led Arpegio, the Orquesta Juvenil de Música Nueva, Jazz Jaus, Music Solutions and Casa Corah, alongside years of arranging, ensemble work, programming and guiding projects for the stage.

She can help with musical direction, curating seasons and festivals, choosing artists, building repertoire, designing cultural experiences and nurturing artistic communities.
